Adult Education

On several Monday evenings each fall, a group of men and women meet
from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Rectory Meeting Room to gain a better
understanding of the Bible and contemporary Catholic theology.
The courses offered cover a wide variety of topics, such as Old and New
Testament, Church History, Life in the Time of Jesus, Views of the
Afterlife in World Religions, and more.  Pat Snow, who has a Master's
Degree in Religious Education, leads the group through a period of reading
and discussion.  Members of the group are friendly and diverse -- men and
women of all ages and backgrounds, including young adults and
non-Catholics.  Their various viewpoints add perspective and interest to the
courses and reinforce what is learned.  All are welcome and refreshments
                    are served.
