Eucharistic Ministers

The Eucharistic Ministers are a group of parishioners dedicated to bringing Holy Communion to the sick and aged of the Parish each Sunday morning.  They visit private homes, Riddle Hospital, Riddle village, Granite Farms Estates, the Residence at Glen Riddle and Fair Acres Geriatric Center.  It is a very rewarding experience, not only for those who receive Holy Communion, but also for those who participate in the ministry.  Without their visits, many people would be denied spiritual and social involvement at a time when they need it most.

There are currently about 55 ministers but more are needed.  The only requirements are that you are a Catholic in good standing with the church and able to commit about two hours every third Sunday.  Information sessions and training workshops are offered in the fall.

If you would like to bring Christ to the sick and the aged, please call Bud Houpt at 610-459-2290.
