The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a program for those seeking information about the Catholic Church.  It is also for baptized Catholics who may not have received the other Sacraments of Initiation (First Communion and Confirmation.)    This program can also assist those who have been away from the church for many years and wish to return.

The group meets every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Meetings begin each year in the Fall and conclude the week after Easter.  Patricia Snow does an excellent job teaching the content of our Catholic faith and of meeting people where they are on their journey.  She creates a welcoming atmosphere - gives very little homework and gives no tests!

During the course of the year, there are a few times when special Rites are held during Sunday Mass.  This enables the RCIA candidate to feel part of the church membership and, hopefully, enables the congregation to reflect on the gift of faith that is theirs.

Full membership into the church occurs on Holy Saturday at the Easter Vigil liturgy.

If you wish additional information or have questions feel free to call Sister Betty Kirk at 610-459-0554.
